Experienced Full Stack Developer(s) Required – (2 Positions)

Duties and Responsibilities

EITI an ICT Consulting and Digital for Development Firm, working on key digital projects for NGOs, the Government and UN Agencies is looking for two(2) key Full Stack Developers for a major project in Kenya. The firm is looking for a  highly competent and organized software developer with more than five(5) years’ experience in web and desktop based application development, relational databases, code version control, and C# and PHP languages with technologies such as MVC frameworks, Xamarin, .NET MAUI, Blazor, XAML, ASP.Net core, .Net Frameworks, .Net Core, HTML5, jQuery, React, and APIs.

Key skills and competencies

• Proficient in programming languages and technologies; C#, PHP, Blazor Framework, Xamarin, .NET MAUI, ASP.Net MVC and ASP.Net Core, XAML, Java, SQL, JavaScript, React, HTML5, Yii and .NET frameworks, JSON, Bootstrap, AJAX.

• APIs development & integration; Restful and SOAP APIs.

• Proficient in key Microsoft technologies; Azure, Power Apps & the Microsoft Power Platform.

• Proficient in Visual Studio tools; 2010, 2013, 2017, 2019 and 2022.

• Proficient in project management.

• Experience with database management systems i.e., MongoDB, MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL servers.

• An expert in documenting features, technical specifications & infrastructure requirements.

• An expert collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to convert business needs into technical specifications.

• Proficient in using version controls; Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC), GitHub, Bitbucket.

• Proficient in reviewing existing codes.

Education Background

• It is mandatory that the Full Stack Developer has at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an internationally recognized University.

• Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages as listed above (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Pig or R), modeling software, database structures and analytic information extraction and visualization.

• Exceptional experience and exposure in utilizing core Microsoft technologies – MS Azure, Power Apps Platform.

• Core experience in design, developing and implementing applications key will be eLearning Systems and proprietary client directory systems.

• Experience in utilizing GitHub for version control.
